Is reality subject to interpretation? or would It exist despite Our interpretations of It?

Did God (or the Zar of the Universe or Alah or Our Creator) create all of This, including Us, or did We create the idea of God just to make Ourselves more comfortable in a lonely universe?


I'm writing this not for answers, but simply because I wonder what kinds of things in life lead people to believe either way.
